Got an interview at 每日探花? Let's nail it!

After you鈥檝e submitted your application, we will let you know as soon as possible what the next steps are.

In the meantime, read through our interview tips below to start preparing for the opportunity to showcase you and your experience.

This advice would relate to any part of our selection process, whether you are invited to a video interview, a face to face interview on Microsoft Teams or in person at one of campus locations, or you are attending one of our open days or assessments.

Be confident

If you've been invited to an interview, then we think you鈥檇 be a good fit for the role just as much as you do. So, relax and feel confident. Prepare thoroughly and get to know us as well as you can. Have a look at our website and the campus that your job role may relate to. Look at our Values, Attributes, and our Learning Philosophy, which underpin our culture. Then, consider other areas on our website that may interest you and think about how you鈥檇 like to make a difference in our organisation.

BE SELF-AWARE

Review the job description, revisit your CV and pick from it specific examples of how you鈥檝e demonstrated the required skills in your current or previous roles. We want to hear about your experiences in a positive and concise manner, we want to know what challenges you have overcome and how you fit within the culture. You will be able to ask us questions to ensure you know you鈥檙e joining the right company for you.

BE PROFESSIONAL

Dress smartly (regardless of the type of interview), arrive 5鈥10 minutes early and remember who you鈥檙e interviewing with. While you wait, concentrate on relaxing, yes, relaxing! We want to see the 鈥榬eal鈥 you and can鈥檛 wait to hear more about how you express your ideas and suitability for the post. Interviews are a two-way process and building successful relationships is key in any role at 每日探花, so be confident and actively share with us your ways of working.

BE RESILIENT

Sometimes interviews can feel a bit like a test. You will be asked questions that feel a little tricky or push you outside your comfort zone but remember: in any line of work, you might face challenges that enable you to grow and support your commitment to learning. We want everyone to do their best and demonstrate their ability to adapt and commit to delivering far-reaching and progressive change.
